Exclusivity

Items must be listed exclusively on FortuneFlog for 60 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Withdrawal Fee

Early sale or withdrawal incurs a £75 fee to cover research, photography, and marketing services.

Item Custody & Transfer

Seller retains the item until it is sold. Collection or delivery is arranged post-payment confirmation.

Payment to Seller

Payment is processed after item inspection and confirmed delivery to the buyer.

Misrepresentation

If the item doesn’t match its listing, the sale may be cancelled and the item returned at seller’s expense.

Commission Policy

Commission (agreed in writing) is deducted from the final price. Terms are accepted upon item submission.

At FortuneFlog, we want every purchase to be a positive experience. However, due to the nature of antiques, vintage items, and one-off collectibles, our returns policy differs from typical retail stores.

We carefully describe and photograph each item to ensure you understand its condition before purchase. Many items are unique, pre-owned, and may show signs of age.

Eligible Returns
We accept returns only if:
- The item was significantly misdescribed in the listing.
- The item arrives damaged in transit and is reported to us within 48 hours of receipt, with photographs.

Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
- ‘Sold as seen’ purchases – items collected in person are considered inspected by the buyer.
- Items clearly marked as ‘Non-Returnable’ in the listing.
- Bulky or high-value freight items (e.g., large furniture) where change-of-mind returns would involve significant shipping costs.
- Items purchased through inquiry-based sales where special terms were agreed before purchase.

Change of Mind
If you change your mind:
- We are not obliged to accept the return unless stated otherwise in the product listing.
- If we do agree, the buyer must pay all return shipping costs and return the item in the same condition as received.
- Refunds (if approved) will be processed within 14 days after inspection.

How to Request a Return
- Contact us via email within the stated time frame.
- Provide photographs and a clear explanation of the issue.
- We will confirm eligibility and provide instructions.

Some listings may clearly state return restrictions in the product description and/or at checkout. Please review carefully before purchase.
